Medicare Enrollment Periods
Medicare has established several enrollment periods.
The Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is a specific period to to sign up for Medicare Part A and/or Part B.
There are different enrollment periods when a beneficiary may join or change their current plan.

Initial Enrollment Period (IEP)
IEP is specific to the Medicare-eligible person.
Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
SEP is allows a change to MAPD or Part D plans.
General Enrollment Period (GEP)
GEP is from January 1st – March 31st every year.
MA Open Enrollment Period (OEP)
ME OEP is from January 1st – March 31st every year.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
AEP is from October 15th – December 7th every year.
